Pantex Inc., creators and manufacturers of world famous Little Miracle™ products. A bit of background about our founder, Robert (Bob) Caco.
Having spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry, starting out in Pharmaceutical Sales in 1957, Bob (our founder and inventor of Little Miracle Pain Spray) started his own pharmaceutical company in 1967 in Ontario, Canada, called Regal Pharmaceuticals. For over 25 years, Regal Pharmaceuticals supplied Canadian drug stores (including Shoppers Drug Mart, Big V, Boots, etc), Loblaws, hospitals, and nursing homes coast to coast with their non-prescriptive liquids and powders. In 1975, Bob started Bradcan Inc. in Burlington, Ontario, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company that provided the manufacturing of these non-prescriptive O.T.C. “wets” and “dries” for Regal Pharmaceutical and other companies including Proctor & Gamble, Boehringer Ingelheim, Shakley Products, to name a few. Bradcan also manufactured and supplied most of the baking soda and baking powder in Canada under various names and brands – running around the clock (interesting factoid….Canadian folks bake from scratch and use tons of baking soda and baking power)!
In 1982, Bob expanded Bradcan, and built a new GMP manufacturing plant and analytical laboratory. In 1985, needing more space, the Bradcan plant was doubled in size and was operating around the clock, 3 shifts a day supplying drug stores, grocery stores and hospitals from coast to coast, as well as venturing into the United States for specialty VA projects.
In 1988, Bob started Pantex, Inc. in Florida. One day, while hauling wood, Bob hurt his back. Hating to take any oral medications, he went into the local independent pharmacy and asked the pharmacist about what could help him with the pain. He tried everything that they had. Nothing really worked. He went to another pharmacy….and another….and another in search of something that would help his back pain. Nothing worked…He didn’t like that…..
So, Bob called up his old friend, Canadian pharmaceutical research chemist Louis Fernandez for help. Bob knew what he wanted and together with Louis, after a year in the making, Little Miracle Pain Spray was created and offered to the public.
